Commentaires sur l'espèce
Le Sténobothre nain est, comme son nom l’indique, la plus petite des espèces du genre dans la région. La femelle ressemble à une petite femelle de S. lineatus.
Ciblage des prospections
S. stigmaticus fait partie des orthoptères menacés de disparition, ce qui ne dénote pas avec le faible nombre de données en Île-de-France où il ne subsiste qu’en quelques stations localisées. Les adultes stridulent de juin à octobre.
