Informations espèce

Commentaires sur l'espèce

Espèce printanière à estivale. Peut facilement passer inaperçue : se pose souvent au sol loin de l'eau, les imagos ne sont territoriaux que peu de temps.

Semble plus rare dans le nord de la région qu'au sud. des prospections spécifiques semblent montrer que l'espèce ne fréquente pas la Marne alors qu'elle est bien présente sur la Seine et le Loing. Des précisions sont nécessaires pour les autres rivières de la région.

 

Ciblage des prospections

Exuvies présentes à faible hauteur sur la végétation herbacée proche de l'eau (Iris notamment) ou alors sur les berges, plus rarement sur les troncs des arbres surplombant l'eau.

Des prospections ciblées sont indispensables pour détecter l'espèce quand les populations sont faibles.

Espèce fréquentant aussi bien les étangs que les rivières larges.

Concernant les plans d'eau, ils sont généralement de taille moyenne à grande, ensoleillés mais assez peu végétalisés.

Concernant les rivières, l'espèce semble affectionner les cours d'eau moyen à grands assez vifs et clairs.
