Informations espèce

Commentaires sur l'espèce

Cette espèce est sous-prospectée mais est apparemment très stable sur les localités connues. Elle est représentée dans la région par la forme hippocrepidis.

C'est la seule espèce de Zygène à s'envoler en zigzaguant.

Ciblage des prospections

Identification nécessitant un examen attentif : confusion possible avec d'autres espèces.
La détermination se fera via l'observation de l'ornementation présente sur l'avers et le revers des ailes antérieures ainsi que l'observation de la pointe des antennes (blanchâtre). Attention à la confusion possible avec Z. filipendulae.
